Our leadership

Sean Corrigan formed GlobalNau Solutions to assist organizations in growing internationally, strengthening supply chains, optimizing financial operations, and communicating more effectively.   

With nearly 30 years of experience helping businesses of all sizes meet their financial objectives, Sean has been an executive leader at the world’s largest financial institutions and FinTech. Before forming GlobalNau, he was the APAC deputy head of Global Receivables & Trade Finance at Wells Fargo. Based in Tokyo, he led regional sales, communication, and strategy for trade and supply chain finance across Asia. Concurrently, he also held regional governance seats as the Asia Sustainable Finance executive (overseeing the firm’s climate risk management and regulatory response framework, establishing sustainable finance origination capabilities, and developing a global sustainable trade finance product roadmap) and as a Tokyo Branch Management Committee member.

Previously, Sean was Atlanta-based and the global head of Strategic Trade Payment Solutions, a multinational team responsible for sales, technology integration, supply chain finance, supplier engagement, and working capital optimization analysis. He was the executive sponsor of Wells Fargo’s Trade Advisory Council, a client/bank committee focused on trade payment industry trends, global trade issues, and future product development. Sean launched the firm’s domestic e-payments team in the Eastern United States, creating the bank’s national supplier analysis and onboarding capability. He originally moved to Atlanta to open the Southeast market for Wells Fargo Global Treasury Management sales. Before joining Wells Fargo, Sean was the managing director of banking relationships for a FinTech company acquired by JP Morgan Chase. He started his financial services career in corporate banking at PNC Bank in Pittsburgh, PA.

Sean has served on the Board of Directors at the Japan America Society of Georgia. He was a faculty member of the University of North Carolina Keenan-Flagler School of Business Executive Treasury Management Program and has also been a guest lecturer at Duquesne University’s John F. Donahue Graduate School of Business, the Association of Corporate Treasurer’s Cash Management School, and a guest speaker at global conferences held by organizations such as the Association of Financial Professionals, National Association of Credit Management, Global Trade Review, and China Merchants Bank.

An accomplished terrestrial and underwater photographer, Sean’s work has appeared in Hearst Media, InTouch Magazine, Scuba Diving Magazine, Sport Diver Magazine, and Roundel Magazine. Sean is also a writer, with work appearing in Hearst Media and reaching the main page of Digg, a worldwide hub of engaging and thought-provoking content that reaches millions.

Sean graduated from Gannon University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has an M.B.A. from Duquesne University. He completed coursework at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the University of Cambridge. Sean has a Certified Treasury Professional designation from the Association for Financial Professionals and holds a Certificate in International Cash Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers in the United Kingdom.
